Student Work
Grading Policy
Students will receive a percentile and letter grade for each of their academic subjects four times a year, plus a final average.
90-100
A – Excellent
80-89
B – Above Average
70-79
C – Average
60-69
D – Below Average
59 and below
F – Unacceptable Work
I – Incomplete Work – Must be made up within ten school days or it becomes a zero.
60% Tests/Quizzes/Essays/Projects
20% Independent Reading Blog/Portfolio
10% Homework/Notes
10% Participation, Reflections, and Citizenship
Late work that is accepted will be subject to point deductions determined by the teacher.
Specific comments are given regarding effort and conduct for each subject area. If you have any questions about grades, please contact me.

First Quarter
Interim Grades: October 5 Final Grades: Nov 8
Second Quarter
Interim Grades: December 15 Final Grades: Jan 26
Third Quarter
Interim Grades: March 8th Final Grades: April 9
Fourth Quarter
Interim Grades: May 17th Final Grades: June 19
